I found the shower disappointing because it had only a combined shampoo and conditioner. it seemed like a step back in time. also, the provided towels felt worn out and thin. i understand the idea of being eco-friendly, but the quality shouldnt suffer this much. pillow options were also not great. All pillows felt too firm, and my neck suffered as a result.

the location was acceptable. the hotel is near the dubai mall.
the staff seemed poorly trained. extending my stay after the flooding was a problem. housekeeping and the front desk did not communicate properly. getting laundry was a nightmare, as the staff member did not know how to use the credit card machine and falsely claimed i had insufficient funds.

The gym had a great variety of equipment. I was able to do all my usual workouts.
The TV lacked English shows, so I struggled to find something to watch. It wasn't ideal after a long day. It really limited my evening entertainment, especially since I wanted to relax in my room. I felt quite isolated with the limited options.

the hotel's location was convenient. i could easily walk to the mall and the burj khalifa, and there was also a free shuttle bus available. the staff were very friendly and always ready to help, especially the room cleaning guy. he made sure i had plenty of water, which i greatly appreciated.
i did notice the room was a little small. i think for longer stays, it could feel a bit cramped. also, the price seemed a little high compared to other hotels in the area with similar facilities.

I found the free shuttle to Kite Beach very useful. I really liked that the hotel has a grocery store. This made getting snacks and drinks easy (i bought water there!).
